WSC45 challenge

When I saw this weekend sketch challenge I knew what set I wanted to use. I love this Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set, and it seems to be lovely in almost any color combination. I chose Almost Amethyst and Eggplant Envy for this one.

I watercolored the vase of flowers using my watercolor crayons. Then I accented the flower centers with markers. I do love to watercolor!

The corners of the focal point were punched with the ticket corner punch. I couldn't resist a little paper piercing around it and a set of 3 holes in each corner. I added some eggplant grosgrain ribbon on a piece of aged copper hardware to carry out the eggplant color. The word "bloom" was stamped in eggplant ink also, and the designer paper is Almost Amethyst. To see Beate's sketch challenge follow this link.
