I've been practicing brayering again ! This card uses Lovely as a Tree stamp set. The sky is brayered with Cool Carribean Ink. The ground is shades of green. I used torn paper to make a mask and sponged over the edges to form the hills. I also sponged some chalk with a dauber to make the sunset color behind the trees.

I stamped the tree on the left first, and then stamped the second tree without reinking. Looking at it now, I wish I had stamped the lower tree first and the one in the back second with out reinking, since it appears to be further away.

I like the single brad as a simple embellishment. That way the artwork is the main focus.

Hello Diane.I enjoy your blog and think your artwork is fabulous. I do not own a brayer and have been thinking about buying one. I looked at them at the craft store this past weekend and noticed there were two types - a soft one and a hard one. What is the difference and do I need both or will one suffice? Thanks!
