Lovely As A Tree brayered card

This lovely card was an experiment with brayering the background. My sister, Cindy, made this card!

The tree was stamped in basic black on a white top note die cut. The sky was brayered with Cool Carribean ink using a sponge brayer. The ground was made with Creamy Caramel and Garden Green. The green area was sponged in. She made those little shadow trees with a Q-tip and pastels. Two rhinestone brads hold the top note to the Cool Carribean layer, which is attached to a card base of Marigold Morning card stock.
We decided the next time the tree should be embossed so it would give the card more depth.

I'll be featuring some more of Cindy's work in future posts. I love the pretty cards she's been making!
