Bloomin' Beautiful bookmark card

This clever card is a case of a similar card we made at my upline's meeting last month. For this card I chose a different stamp set (Bloomin' Beautiful) and different papers.

The bookmark is made of a long folded strip of Whisper White which is layered onto a strip of Baja Breeze. It is attached to the card with little magnet strips on the underneath side of the bookmark. The flower was stamped and embossed with basic black Craft ink, then colored with watercolor crayons and an Aqua Painter.

The basic card is Baja Breeze. A strip of Creamy Caramel paper and a strip of Parisian Breeze specialty paper are layered over the basic card front. The caramelvlayer is stamped with the stem from the Great Friend set.

The little bee is also stamped and embossed with Black ink and E.P. before coloring with watercolor crayons and an Aqua Painter. It is punched out and layered using two circle punches. The background on the bookmark is made with the spatter stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds. Inside, the greeting from Great Friend has been stamped.

Thanks for stopping by!
