Two-Step bird punch card

I've been wanting to use this new Extra large Two-Step Bird punch (117191). I really like how easy it is to create a card with it.
The bird is punched out of Brocade Blue card stock and the edges are sponged with Ballet Blue ink. The wing is Almost Amethyst, and a shadow wing was created with Basic Black and tucked underneath the wing. A tiny dot from a black marker was used for the eye.
The leaf branch was punched out of Certainly Celery card stock.
The scallop square makes use of the new Scallop Edge punch (free as a Sale-e-bration product), and the Scallop Trim Corner punch (118870).
The bird is layered over two circles. The top one is Almost Amethyst, and the larger one is Brocade Blue. (The photo doesn't show the true colors.) A narrow Celery ribbon was tied around the circles.
The square card stock is Naturals White, and the Very Vintage jumbo wheel (117693) was rolled across the background in Almost Amethyst ink. The standard sized card base is Almost Amethyst.

Please stop by soon for some more new ideas!
Have a great day!
