Snowflake Ornate Ornament

 

 

Yesterday I made an ornament inspired by the green one on page 2 of the Holiday Mini catalog.

This one uses one of the Holiday Ornaments Framelits dies as well as the Designer Rosette Bigz XL die and the retired Snowflake #2 Bigz die, all cut out with the Sizzix Big Shot.  The dsp comes from the specialty designer series Holly Berry Bouquet (retired). 

The ornament was spritzed with a mixture of Champagne Mist and alcohol.  Although not obvious in the photo, it looks sparkling in the sunlight!

A large rhinestone was added to the snowflake center for a final  embellishment.

The back of the ornament was finished off with a red scalloped circle, made

with the 1 3/4" scalloped circle punch.

I 'm having fun creating lots of ornaments with the new Framelits dies and other supplies I have on hand.  I love this one!
