A Recycled Project

I found an interesting card challenge on the Paper Players blog today using a re-purposed or recycled item on a project.  During my cleaning up efforts yesterday I came across a tag I had removed from a swap card I received some time ago.  It was the perfect object to include on my recycling project for the Paper Players  # 140 Challenge.
First I removed the stamped letter from the tag and did some fine trimming around the edges.  Then I began to look for other papers to carry out the colors in the tag.  When I found the Sycamore Street DSP I decided to change the ribbon on the tag to coordinate with the paper.  Then I found some scraps of Wild Wasabi colored DSP and trimmed them to make banners.
Once assembled I added some paper piercing around the edges and called it finished!
Not my usual style, but I do think I like it!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by.  I always appreciate your thoughts and comments!

It looks great and it's always good to use stuff you normally wouldn't.

Fabulous reuse of the tag, Dianne. I love the banners behind the tag, as well as the circular element. Great fussy cutting job on the "U", too.
So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
