Simple masking with old favorites

I created this card to show how simple masking can make an elegant card.
I used two strips of "Frog Tape" to isolate the area and sponged inside with Crushed Curry (#131173), Tangerine Tango (#126946), and Pear Pizzazz (#131180) inks.  Stampin' sponges (#101610) are the best product for this technique.
(Post It notes would work just as well as the tape for masking.)  After sponging I carefully removed the tape (so it wouldn't tear the paper). I used my old favorite leaf stamp from the retired Oriental Gardens stamp set and inked it with Cajun Craze (#126965).  Another small unidentified leaf stamp was used in the corner.
The Gorgeous Grunge background stamp (#130517) was added to create a whimsy look as well as an accent color with more Cajun Craze ink (#126965).
Some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) were added to embellish the card with a little bling.

The inside of the card was stamped with a sentiment from the
Happy Scenes stamp set (#139821) using Cajun Craze ink. Another sponged strip was created to bring  the color theme to the inside of the card.

I'm looking forward to re-creating this card with my new stamp set Lighthearted Leaves when it arrives! (check it out on page 44 in the Holiday catalog.)
