Awesome Sprinkles of Life card

The card I made today follows a sketch I found on the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  I selected the pretty blue floral paper from Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP, (now available in the New Annual Catalog),  Daffodil Delight card stock, and the flip side of the floral paper for the other strip in the design.

The background was stamped with Mink Macaron ink using the Work of Art stamp set.  I like how it pulls the green color up from the patterned paper.

The flowers were stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink.  After cutting out the blooms with my paper snips I popped them on the basket that was stamped with Night of Navy Ink.

I love the sweet sentiment from the Grateful Bunch stamp set.  It is layered over a strip of Mint Macaron card stock and  tucked under the basket. I'm so glad the Sprinkles of Life stamp set is still available in the current catalog.  It offers so many design possibilities!

Ok - I do realize that you used the flowers, not the cupcake, on your card, Diane! The other ladies must've been hungry while they were commenting - LOL! :) I love the DSP you chose - it's perfect, and the colours are lovely. This is one of my favourite sketch layouts yet! Thanks for joining our Paper Craft Crew challenge. ~Deborah
