Back Yard Basics with Honeycomb

I love this cute bee from the Back Yard Basics stamp set.  It is fun to color and  easy to cut out with  the coordinating framelits dies.

The sentiment is from the Too Kind stamp set and is punched out with the extra large oval punch.

Card stock colors are Crushed Curry, Basic Black, and Whisper White.  The Honeycomb embossing folder is perfect for this card.

Backyard Basics bird

I made a set of cards with this pretty stamp set.  The first one is using the bird image from Backyard Basics set, and the flourish is from Creative Elements stamp set.

The  bird was colored with watercolor pencils and an Aqua Painter.  The branch was cut out freehand with paper snips.

The Delicate Designs Textured Embossing folder was used for the lacy  border on the card front.

Inside, the flourish from Creative Elements was added to the bottom as a border.


The coral card stock is retired Cameo Coral, but any of the current colors would work nicely.
