Camera Punch Art

I needed a birthday card for a camera collector.  I found a similar card by demonstrator Julie Grabowska on Stampin' Connection (a resource for SU demonstrators.)

My card uses Marina Mist and Night of Navy card stock.

A piece of window sheet creates the look of the camera lens.
The envelope punch board was used to create the file folder look of the card.
The Square Lattice TIEF  gives a great textured look to the card.
The Circles Collection framelits were used to create the camera lens.
Blue grosgrain ribbon, a candy dot, and the banner punch provided the finishing details.

Serene Silhouettes Birthday

Here's a birthday card I made for my son last week.  I think the birds stamp from Serene Silhouettes worked up nicely into a masculine card.

I stamped the image with Cajun Craze ink and used Cajun Craze card stock to create a border around the card.
I used a piece of a window sheet and the second from smallest Deco Labels framelit to create a  frame. The Big Shot makes this so easy!  I love the clean look and simplicity of  the finished card.
