Embossed petals card

I know you're loving your new Blossom Petals punch if you ordered one!
I made this card in two sizes.  The square card, shown here, and a variation of it in a regular 4 1/4" x 5 1//2" size. (I'll show you that one in a future post.)
The large petals were punched out of Whisper White card stock with the blossom punch and curled with a bone folder.  Next they were layered on a 1" circle with glue dots.  The long petals were stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. After punching them out they were layered on a 3/4" punched circle with glue dots.
The flower center was stamped with Perfect Plum ink, punched out and layered over the center. I had to have some bling, so I added a basic pearl to the  flower center!
The card base is Crumb Cake, layered with Perfect Plum.
Don't you love how these petals can be arranged to make whatever style you want?  They are so versatile!

Build-A-Blossom fish

This adorable card idea came from the Orlando Regional Seminar last week.
It uses the Build a Blossom stamp set and the Blossom petals punch.  I brayered the bottom of the Whisper White card before stamping the fish in Tempting Turquoise.  The big fish was stamped in Melon Mambo ink.  The grass from the Inspired by Nature stamp set was inked in Certainly Celery ink.
This was really a quick and fun card to make!
My brayering tip: Put a magazine under your work mat before brayering to get a smoother look.  Start your brayer off the paper and gradually roll harder as you mover over the card stock.
