16th Birthday and Mojo Monday

 

 I created this card for a teenage boy.
 
I used the Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge (MOJO344) to get started.


The colors used are Black, Very Vanilla, and Real Red.  The dsp is from the Modern Medley paper collection.  Three gold foil stars were cut using the star die in the Circle Card framelits set, then stacked with glue dots in between to give added height.  I also used the Starburst framelits and the Chalk Talk framelits.

The inside was kept clean and simple with just a sentiment from Yippee Skippee stamp set, leaving  space to write a personal message.

Have you tried Stampin' Up's new Photopolymer Stamps?

This card was made using the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set.  The stamps are clear all the way through and when attached to a clear acrylic block you can see exactly where you are stamping!

The little hearts are so easy to line up across the page when you can see exactly where you're placing them.

The Thank You was stamped in VersaMark ink on Melon Mambo card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.  It was cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits and embellished with a  tiny black brad.

The little black edge along the music on the card was made with the Edgelits framelits.

I love the music background on the Modern Medley DSP.   The same paper was used to line the envelope using the envelope liners framelits.
