Simply Sketched Note Cards

I adore the images from the hostess set Simply Sketched.  I decided to do a little watercoloring and make a set of note cards.

The images were stamped in black ink on watercolor paper.  They were watercolored using some water color crayons (retired) and an aqua painter.  I do love this technique.  It adds elegance to a simple image.

The labels framelits and circle die were use to cut the frames.  I selected one of the colors from each image to repeat the color in the frame of each card.

Each card measures 4 1/4" square.

Now all I need to do is create coordinating envelopes with the envelope maker board and envelope framelits!

Summer Silhouettes in white

 Summer Silhouettes and Everything Eleanor were used to make this card.  It was mostly cased from Vicky Hayes, a demo in the UK.  I used white craft ink to stamp the flowers, then added color with a blender pen and Watercolor Crayons.
The sentiment is from Petite Pairs, and is stamped in Rose Red.
