Scallop Punch Medallion

If you have a Stampin' Up! scallop punch, did you know you can make a lovely medallion with it? This card features a medallion made with that punch! The medallion's bottom layer is made from a single scallop punch in Rose Red. The next layer up is made from a Pretty in Pink punch...that has been punched twice. Just insert the punched scallop back into the punch, turn it until the scallops line up in the middle of the already punched scallops, then punch again. The edges will be turned into these lovely little points! The next layer is made from the designer series paper and the 5-petal punch, again punched twice to created an extra set of points. The top layer is simply the small flower from Baroque Motifs stamped and punched out with a circle punch.

The base card is Rose Red, layered with a Pretty in Pink card that was stamped with the large swirl in the Baroque Motifs set. The ticket corner punch was used on the corners of the next two panels. The ribbon is Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon. Hope you have time to get out your punches and make some of these fun medallions!
