Touch of Nature

This little square note uses the Touch of Nature stamp set. I made a template by cutting out a circle for a reverse mask using a circle cutter. The bird was stamped inside the mask. The background was sponged with inks, and the bird was colored with pastels. After removing the mask, I stamped the branch which extends out of the frame. It was inked with markers and then I lined it up with the branch. I filled in a couple of lines with brown marker to connect it to the other branch. This was a fun card to make.
This technique was CASED from tx stamper on Splitcoast stampers website.

This is really pretty. I love the softness of the sponging of the background. Very nice job!!!
