Lovely as a Tree Sympathy

This lovely Oak tree from Lovely as a Tree stamp set (#115026) is one I use often for sympathy cards. A tree seems so peaceful and calming and perfect for sympathy.
The scalloped strip is made with the Very Vintage jumbo wheel (#117693) and Always Artichoke ink. I used a sponge dauber and sponged the edge with the same ink to accentuate the scallop edge after I punched it out with the scallop edge punch (#112091).

The papers used are Whisper White, Basic Black, Mellow Moss card stock and a pattern from the retired Recollections dsp.

The sentiment is from the retired Watercolor Wishes set. I like the style of script and find myself pulling it out for this kind of card whenever I need to send one.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow for a cheerful card!
