Using up some scraps...

Do you have a lot of unused scraps in your stash? Here's a great way to make use of them.

For the note cards above I used the stamp set Botanical Blooms for these little note cards. Paper used is Naturals White and Kiwi Kiss card stock, and retired designer paper.
The flower images were colored with an Aqua Painter on Watercolor paper. Circle punches and the scallop circle punch were used.
The Thank You is part of the Elegant Thank You stamp image, and was punched out with the word window punch.
The eyelet border punch and the Scallop Trim border punch were used to add some background interest.
The little envelopes were also stamped with another image from this set and colored with markers and an Aqua Painter.

Text ColorThe second set of note cards was also stamped
from the Botanical Blooms stamp set. The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper, colored with markers and an Aqua Painter, and punched out with the wide oval and scalloped oval punches. The dsp is from the retired Raspberry Tart collection. Again, the eyelet border punch was used.

The last note card features a flower made with the scallop circle punch. It was sponged on the edges with Close to Cocoa ink and attached to a square of Naturals White, which as layered over a piece of Close to Cocoa card stock. The little flower in the center is punched from Blush Blossom paper with one of the flowers on the retired Spring Flowers punch and attached with a small brad from the Soft Subtles collection.
The sentiments on the front and inside come from one of the stamps in the retired Lots of Thoughts stamp set.
This is a great way to make use of small pieces of scrap paper and some great retired stamps. Hope this inspires you to make use of some unused things in your stash!
Thanks for visiting today!
