Today's card uses the new Vintage Vogue stamp set and the little Kisses die cut notes, both now available in the current Occasions mini-catalog. I saw this card in yellow and gray and really liked the layout. My card is basically the same, but I changed the square card to a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. I also changed the stamp set and colors.
The little Kisses die cut note creates a perfect background for a small focal point.
The little vine was inked with Chocolate Chip ink, and the flowers were colored with Ruby Red marker right on the stamp before it was stamped on the little note card. The flowers were stamped on a small scrap, cut out, and attached with dimensionals.
The layer under the little card is Cameo Coral. The corners of that layer were curled with a bone folder.
A Ruby Red square is under the Coral layer, which was attached to a piece of Ruby Red DSP.
The card base is Ruby Red, with a layer of Whisper White over it.
The happy birthday sentiment is part of a stamp from the On Your Birthday stamp set.
This was a fun and easy card to create. It is always nice to have a few birthday cards on hand when one is needed in a hurry!
