I just happened to pass by the Dollar Spot in Target a couple of weeks ago and found this adorable little scrapbook that needed a little decorating. The color of the cover is an exact match to our Pixie Pink.
I pulled out some polka-dotted designer paper and covered the front and back with it, tracing the scalloped edge on the wrong side of the paper first, then cutting it out.
The grosgrain ribbon was perfect to use after a light pressing with my iron.
I stamped the Monogram M from the Lovely Letters Alphabet and embossed it with Clear E.P. I used the 1 1/4" and the 1 3/8" circle punches to cut it out. I also used the Little Leaves Sizzlit and Certainly Celery card stock to add a little embellishment.
Inside, I decorated every set of two pages with layers of Chocolate Chip and Pixie Pink or Certainly Celery and Olive card stock, alternating the colors throughout the book.
This was a lucky find for me and I love how it turned out! Now I just need to get busy adding the pictures inside! This will be a gift for my new great granddaughter!
