Spring Song Z-fold Card

Have you made a z-fold card lately?  I decided to use the little bird from the Spring Song stamp set to create this card for one of my Stamp Club projects.
To begin, the  bird was stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink on Very Vanilla card stock.
Stampin' Pastels were used to color the bird.  The beak was colored with a Pumpkin Pie marker and a  basic black marker was used for the eye, making sure to leave a little white in the center for a highlight.
A 1 3/4" circle punch was used for the hole in the Sage Shadow square.  Then the piece was rolled through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to create texture.
A piece of Vanilla taffeta ribbon was wrapped through the hole and tied up with a piece of linen thread before assembling the pieces and attaching to a square of Close to Cocoa paper.
The main card is a piece of Very Vanilla 4 1/4" x 10" that is scored at 5" and 7 1/2" to make the Z-fold.
Here is what the folded card looks like:

The brown strip on the main card under the main image is a piece of 1/2" wide Close to Cocoa paper.  It is decorated with a pattern created by theVery Vintage jumbo wheel inked with Close to Cocoa ink.
The sentiment is also stamped in Close to Cocoa ink, and is part of the Spring Song stamp set.
All of my stampers loved making this card!  I hope you enjoy it, too!
