Summer Silhouettes with reverse masking technique

I chose this technique to make a simple framed look on the card.

I cut a rectangle out of a piece of copy paper and layered it over the white card front.
The center was sponged with Crisp Cantaloupe, Pear Pizzazz, and a touch of yellow ink.
The silhouettes were stamped inside the sponged area.  I intentionally stamped the stem so it popped out of the box to add a little interest.
The  greeting was added after punching it out and sponging the edge.

I had fun with the inside on this card. The tiny butterfly was an afterthought, and I just love the little surprise it adds to the card.  I also added two of the tiniest Basic Pearls to dress it up!

Tips:
I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the two-step stamp stamping on this card.  I  wanted a better placement that I can get when I "wing it!"

Thanks for stopping by today!
