Seahorse & ocean themed card

Summer themes are fun with the By the Tide stamp set.  I've been playing with this stamp set and would like to share this card with you.

I loved sponging and shading the shells as I assembled them for this card. Although there was a lot of cutting, I enjoyed the final results.
Supplies:   By the Tide stamp set  (# 129120 clear, or #131910 wood.)
Ink and Papers:  Baked Brown Sugar paper and ink, Bermuda Bay ink, Whisper White card stock.
Accessories: Paper snips, 2 1/2" circle punch,  Shells were shaded with Stampin' Pastels, retired, and colored pencils, Some shells from retired sets. Embossing folder, non-SU.

Beach-themed Birthday

.

As I was planning a card for my son's birthday I found a sketch that I liked from the Paper  Players, Sketch # 156.  I decided it would work for the type of card I wanted after I turned the sketch on it's side.   Here is the sketch I used.

I selected By the Tide stamp set and the Along the Shore stamp set (retired).
Teeny Tiny wishes was used for the sentiment, and Itty Bitty Backgrounds provided a nice sandy-looking background for the card.  The card stock selected includes Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Whisper White.

The images were stamped with black ink and Soft Suede ink pads. Watercolor crayons and an Aqua Painter were used to color them.
Accessories include  3/4" and 1" circle punches and the modern label punch.
I  am pleased with the way it turned out. It worked out great for a masculine card.

Thanks for looking.  Enjoy your day!
