Gift Box with Blossom Bouquet

Hello!  I'm so glad you stopped by today!

My share for you today is this fun little gift box which is decorated with flowers created with the new Triple Layer Punch.
Our family will be celebrating a very special 90th birthday this weekend.  I created this box to fill with cash!


After making the box I decorated it with flowers punched out with the Blossom Bouquet triple layer punch, now available in the summer mini catalog.  All of the shapes are created from the same punch simply by moving a small lever to select the desired image!

Stamps: Bring on the Cake!

Card stock and markers: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie. Wild Wasabi

Ink: Basic Black (Craft)

Accessories: Black embossing powder, Heat tool, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Two-Step Bird X-Lg Bird Punch,  Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, 2-Way glue, Paper Snips.

Paper Purse for a Gift Card

Today's share is this adorable purse that holds a gift card or other small  treat.  It was one of the projects designed by Catherine Harwood at the March 321-Stamp team meeting.  This version of the purse is based on a tutorial by Frenchie showing how to make this cute purse.
The project uses Rose Red card stock, Springtime Vintage DSP, Easter Blossoms  and Clearly for You stamp sets.
The dsp is so pretty it really looks like a touch of Spring!

Chocolate Bunny treat pouch

Here's a little treat pouch that was made from the Sizzix Pillow Box die cut. My customers all got one as a thank you in their orders this month.

The Chocolate Bunny stamp from the Occasions mini-catalog is clear embossed on Close to Cocoa paper. He was cut out and popped up on one of the Sending Love Kisses notes. It is wheeled in Certainly Celery ink with the Very Vintage wheel (also available in the mini catalog.)

The little flower comes from A Good Egg stamp set, as does the Happy Easter greeting that's been punched out with a word window punch.
Stampin' Up celery grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the pouch and tied with a piece of pink crochet thread. I was lucky to have some that matched the paper color so perfectly!

Tips: This little die cut goes together easily if it is cut out of card stock. I found the DSP was too light weight to make a sturdy pouch. Also, I found that going over the crease lines with my bone folder made assembly much easier. I put the long side seam together first using Sticky Strip.
Just tuck a little sweet treat inside! The ends will fold in nicely and don't need any adhesive if you plan to use ribbon around the pouch.

Altered Frame

My friend and downline Pam Miller brought this project to our team meeting last month. It uses Baroque Motifs and Enjoy Every Moment stamp sets.
We used the Sizzix Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die cut to make the butterfly out of a retired dsp. It was mounted on a flower from the Pretties kit. This was really a quick project, and so much fun to make! I'll be looking for some more of these shadow box frames for future projects.

Summer Picnic CD Album

I've had this cute CD album for some time and decided to decorate it. Here's the outside of the CD album. I love these cute designer papers. The strawberry is stamped twice and the top is cut off and layered over the berry.

I think it will be a cute way to display photos.

One Sheet Pocket Book

This little booklet was made from a single sheet of designer paper. Inside are little pockets, and each pocket holds a tag. Of course, you could slip photos in the pockets instead of a tag. I like the tags because I plan to stamp favorite sentiments on some and put photos on others. The cover is stamped with polka dots and daisies stamp set.

To learn how to make this fun pocket book you can find a tutorial on Vicki Hook's blog on Apr. 28. The directions are so easy to follow you can have one made in a matter of minutes! Since I don't have a book binder I tied my pocket book up with ribbons.
