I was in need of a project for a group of 6th graders I'll be working with this week, so I came up with an idea for an easy Mother's Day card.
This card is 3 x 6". I used the large square punch to make a window in the card. Then I punched a bunch of flowers from paper scraps using the retired 3 flower punch and glued them on the punch -out. I thought this would make it easier to define the area for the punched flowers to be displayed. I slid the square in place so they show through the window. Next I rolled the It's Beautiful wheel across the bottom of the card in Orchid Opulence ink. I glued the apple green ribbon in place and trimmed it even with the card. Next I stamped a So Saffron flower and My Mom on a white card scrap and punched it out. It is attached with a dimensional dot. Inside the card I stamped Happy Mother's Day. I hope this will be easy and fun for my group of kids!
