Hello, everyone! We're finally feeling a little cooler weather in Central Florida this week. It has put me in the mood for a Fall card.
I've chosen the stamp set Autumn Days for this card. The background was brayered on glossy card stock. I used the retired Kalidacolor inkpad Autumn Leaves because I love those rich colors.
The ground was sponged on with Espresso ink. I tore a strip of copy paper and placed it over the lower part of the card. After sponging, I moved it down to make a second layer of color and give the impression of hills.
The pheasant was stamped with StazOn ink on watercolor paper. It was colored with ink refills and an Aqua Painter, then cut out with Paper Snips.
The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations stamp set.
Other supplies used: Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso Glossy card stock, Neutrals brads, large oval punch, scallop oval punch, 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
I couldn't resist stamping inside the card also! It was stamped with Early Espresso ink. The pheasant is just moving onto the bottom edge of the card, slightly hidden by the wheat stocks.
Inspiration for this card came from one by Claudia Perry.
I hope you've enjoyed my card today.
Thanks for stopping by!
