Ornamental Pine #1

I am having fun playing with this lovely stamp set.

The pine needles were inked with Island Indigo, and then the branch and pine cone were colored with Chocolate Chip marker before stamping on the Whisper White card stock.
A glimmer of glitter was applied to the pine cone.
The Apothecary Accents framelit was used to cut out the shape in the Soft Sky card stock, and was then embossed with the Norrthern Flurry TIEF.
A bow was tied with 1/8" silver ribbon and a tiny tag was attached with the word Joy (retired stamp).
The card base is Island Indigo.
I am happy with the results!

Four Frames Hello

This is a card we made at my stamp club this month.  It uses the Four Frames stamp set, Little Leaves Sizzlits, a woodgrain embossing folder, and a simple banner.  The bird was colored with colored pencils.

The base card  and the banner are made with Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie card stock.

This card design was a case from the card on page 43 in the Annual Catalog, with just a few changes.
I love getting ideas from our SU catalog!

Mixed Bunch for a friend

I love this stamp set and it's beautiful designs on the flowers.  It is so easy to make a pretty card with very little effort.
I saw this layout on line and don't remember who originally designed it.  I did make some changes for my card.  I used the Fun Flowers die to make the red layer behind the punched flower image.  I also  chose the new Fancy Fan embossing folder.
My bow was tied with red grosgrain and  attached with a glue dot. 
This Thinking of You card  is a get well card for a friend who had surgery recently.  I'm hoping that the red and white color combination will cheer her up!

We played around with chipboard at my last Stamp Club.  My newest member and a beginning stamper created this beautiful card!  We inked up chipboard, stamped on it, decorated it with embellishments, and used it as a frame around pretty DSP.

{Freshly Made} sketches challenge

I'm getting a head start with this cute birthday card for my grandson who has a birthday at the end of March.
The stamp sets I used are Under the Stars, Bring on the Cake, and Crazy for Cupcakes.  Both heat  embossing and dry embossing were used.

The  Happy Birthday greeting was stamped inside, along with more embossed stars.

I hope my grandson likes this card.   Sometimes it's hard to make cute cards for boys!!  This {Freshly Made} challenge makes the job much easier. I don't have to work so hard on the layout!
