Glamorous Gold birthday card

A very special birthday deserves a special card.  This card uses the gold foil sheets to the best advantage.

The photo doesn't show off the true color of the gold foil sheets, but you can tell it has shine to it.
The stamp set People Like You has these beautiful flowers.  They were stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder that has some gold glitter in it.  The flowers wer cut out and tucked behind the edge of the foil strip.  I think it looks like a flower box!

The gold foil was embossed with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder.  A piece of 1/8" basic black taffeta ribbon was tied on a knot.

This card was made like a file folder by using the envelope punch board.
The top inside has the greeting on the tab, and the area for writing is layered So Saffron over a Basic Black card.
The birthday greeting is from the hostess set Express Yourself.
The smallest flower was stamped in Smoky Slate ink, using a Stamp-a-ma-jig for accurate placement.

The sentiment was punched out with the Decorative Label punch and layered over a piece of  Wisteria Wonder card stock  cut out with  a die from the Apothecary Arts framelit.

I like how versatile this stamp can be when you look at each of the elements and start creating.
Thanks for stopping by!
